At Egerton Lodge Residential Home we pride ourselves on the standard of care we offer and have fully trained care staff on hand 24 hours a day.
We value our staff immensely and it is they who make the home such a caring and friendly place to be.
In 1997 we were awarded 'Investors in People' in recognition of our commitment to staff development and training. All staff receive full in-house training when they start employment and are encouraged to develop their skills by undertaking other qualifications such as NVQ levels in Health and Social Care.
Each team member is offered the opportunity to develop individually through a programme of well-designed 1-1 and group training activities focusing on their areas of need and choice. We actively encourage our team to take part in nationally recognised qualifications to reward and recognise those high-quality care skills they have.

Our staff team are supported and encouraged to develop according to the current needs and requirements of the role they play at Egerton. We ensure that our team is empowered to achieve the required standards by our commitment to training, appraisal and development. Each team member takes part in a full induction and work shadowing to learn all about our expectations of them and to ensure they are trained to the required standard.
